What do you think to the Channel 4 rebrand? Here’s what Laura Branton, our Senior Account Manager, has to say:
“Channel 4 is a bit like your cool older sibling who always seems to know the best bands and who all of your friends kind of fancy. They’re both edgy (looking at you Black Mirror), they’re ahead of the trends (remember it was Big Brother that spearheaded the reality TV revolution when it began 15 years ago!) and they are, like, super hot and stuff.
“Case in ‘hot point’, Channel 4’s brilliant new rebrand. Dismantling their logo, crafting beautiful typography and creating stunning animated idents that deliberately leave one feeling a little uncomfortable.
“It’s the rebrand equivalent of your big sister coming in with her new nose ring and showing off to your Nanna (ahem, BBC1). Not to everyone’s taste but undeniably cool all the same. You just have to wonder what she’ll do next when the rest of her friends show up with new piercings!”
