Elmwood picks up 5 trophies at DBA Design Effectiveness Awards 2019
Elmwood has won 5 DBA Design Effectiveness Awards at the 2019 annual awards ceremony, which took place in London on June 12. The wins bring the agency’s tally of DBA Design Effectiveness Awards to 72 in ten years, reinforcing Elmwood’s position as the world’s most effective brand design consultancy. Elmwood has won 72 DBA Design Effectiveness Awards since the beginning of the scheme in 1992, 32 more than its closest competitor.
This year’s trophies consisted of 2 Silver and 3 Bronze awards.
These wins serve as recognition of the power of design to drive business success, and provide compelling proof of why brand design is a crucial commercial investment.
Elmwood’s 2019 DBA Effectiveness Awards are:
Astonish – brand identity, brand strategy and packaging for cleaning brand Astonish to encourage retailers and consumers to reappraise the brand, resulting in excellence conveyed and brand positioned as a major player.
Craft – bright, bold, bespoke brand identity and print for Craft recruitment agency with a flexible branding system which helped achieve 8% beyond three-year target growth and +156% increase in profit y.o.y.
Tesco Wicked Kitchen – brand identity, brand strategy and packaging for Tesco’s vegan ready meals/food-to-go brand Tesco Wicked Kitchen focused around the artistry, craft and precision involved in each dish, which led to 42% of total year sales achieved in just one month.
AND Digital – brand guardianship, brand identity, digital activation and verbal identity for business building digital products and teaching digital best practice that effectively showcased its distinctive playful personality and entrepreneurial spirit in a highly competitive market.
22 Street Lane Nursery – brand guardianship, brand identity and brand strategy for an exclusive day nursery in Leeds that took its cue from luxury and resort branding to successfully convey excellence and appeal to a discerning clientele.
