Elmwood Leeds and Astonish pick winner in creative competition for special edition disinfectant bottle design to support NHS
The Elmwood team has helped our client Astonish select and create the winning trigger bottle design for a design competition to support of the NHS. Astonish, the maker of British cleaning products issued the consumer design competition in response to the global pandemic with the aim of keeping kids and those young at heart entertained while in lockdown, as well as generate funding for the NHS.
Astonish received 51 entries and together with Elmwood selected a trigger bottle design by Astonish superfan, Lauren, as the overall competition winner. Lauren’s winning design has been applied by our team to a special edition Astonish Antibacterial Cleanser Trigger. Astonish will produce and sell 250,000 of the special edition triggers and all proceeds will go to support the NHS during the Covid-19 crisis. In addition, 5 winners were selected to win a box of their favourite Astonish product. The special edition bottle has be available for purchase from the week commencing the 8th of June in Asda, Morrisons, Wilko, The Range, Home Bargains, B&M, Ocado.
Lauren’s design has been popular on social media, capturing the imagination of influencers across the wellness and ‘clean home’ community. Instagram users have been particularly keen to share their appreciation for the limited edition rainbow bottles on their feed and in Stories. If you want to share your love for this design, tag our Elmwood UK Instagram account and we will share.
