For New York Fashion Week 2016, Tommy Hilfiger set a new trend and swapped their conventional fashion show for the Tommy Pier.
From Manhattan pier, members of the public were invited to take a ride on a ferris wheel, drive bumper cars, and mingle with some of the world’s top models and fashionistas.
What did we learn? That hype never goes out of style. In a smart move, the fashion label used the event to present their TommyXGigi range and launch a new buy-it-now collection.
The evening was widely covered on Snapchat and Instagram, and broadcasted as a live shoppable stream on their website. Well, having to wait for a new collection to be released is so last season.
