If you have a tablet, and you have a family, then you’ll know there’s no such thing as a personal device. Everyone, but everyone wants to get their paws all over your touchscreen. Clearly, there’s a desire for shared devices in the home and Insensi has brought the concept to life with a new type of phone. (Nice spot Jambell)
Dubbed the first ‘family phone’, the Ily sits somewhere between a tablet and a cellphone. Loaded up with pictures of family members, users simply tap on the image to call them up. Once connected, if the person at the other end has an Ily too, then you can video conference, exchange drawings or send messages. It’s a simple, inexpensive device, cleverly designed to help families keep in touch. A nice idea, as soon as you can prise your iPad out of their sticky little fingers.
