Neutrogena introduces 3D-printed, customized face masks…
If the face fits… US skincare brand Neutrogena is ready to launch 3-D printed face masks, personalised to your skin’s particular needs. Customers take a scan of their own face using the TrueDepth camera on their iPhone X and Neutrogena’s MaskiD app. They then receive a mask that’s customised with up to six different ingredients designed to nourish their skin. Using the same app, they can track their skin’s progress over time. Neutrogena’s high-tech face masks also follow the rise of Korean beauty, or K-beauty as it’s become known, in which cosmetic face masks feature prominently.
The future’s looking good.
