Do you tweet over dinner? Check Facebook in bed? Reach for Candy Crush when conversation gets boring? Circle is a new app that monitors and manages your online behaviour, helping you strike the right balance between real and digital life.
Although it could probably benefit all of us, it’s mainly aimed at families at the moment, so has lots of clever features for parents. The app works on any iOS device, and allows you to quickly see who’s been online and for how long, as well as setting time limits and denying access to time-wasting or inappropriate sites.
Developed by Portland based startup Elameno, Circle is still in the process of fundraising through KickStarter. So if you’re someone who’s constantly and easily distracted by the internet, get online and pledge your financial support. (Or upload that picture of the funny-looking squirrel for all your friends to enjoy.)
