You might have grown quite attached to your Apple Watch. Or maybe the last thing you always do before leaving the house is reach for your Fitbit. But now, there’s a way to get even closer to your wearable tech – tech tattoos. (Nice, Tim)
Developed by Chaotic Moon, the tattoos use conductive paint to create circuits that live on the wearer’s skin. The main purpose of these bio-wearables is to serve as a health monitor. The tattoos gather information about your vital signs, heart rate and temperature so it’s possible to keep an eye on your health over the long term and spot potential problems early on.
The tech tats are even capable of transmitting the data directly to your doctor. Which is great – no more hanging around in dingy waiting rooms. And with a complete health profile available to view, your doc could know you’re getting sick before you do.
