Ebay reads shoppers’ minds
With its latest brainwave, Ebay is hooking customers up to a neural scanner to find out what’s makes them tick when shopping. (Very mindful Bec).
By measuring electrical activity in the brain using an electroencephalogram (EEG) headset, the ecommerce giant hopes to deliver ‘an entirely personalised shopping cart.’ The initiative comes alongside the launch of a new AI-powered website designed to offer greater personalisation.
Who would’ve guessed… it does take a mind reader to know what consumers really want.
