Chinese ecommerce giant Alibaba has launched 60 pop-up stores to support its annual Singles Day event. The stores let shoppers try on items virtually using a magic mirror function – and, if they like what they see, they can buy it instantly by scanning a QR code. They can also read online reviews and enjoy recommendations using the in-store FashionAI, which throws up matching items for a particular outfit.
