Graphic designer Craig Oldham is opening an exhibition at the KK Outlet in London exploring the bygone handwritten letter.
For the Hand.Written.Letter.Project, designers expressed their thoughts and ideas on 100 letters with unique letterheads. The idea is to make people think about how much time they take to correspond with each other. ‘Handwritten letter forms make people consider what they are writing much more deeply, and make the communication much more crafted and beautiful,’ says Danielle Pender, gallery manager of KK Outlet.
Designers, brands and consumers are increasingly realising the importance of analogue communication and the craft it implies.
