We all know how hard it is to keep those New Year’s resolutions – most last about a week. Swedes are no different, so Swedish pharmacy Apotek Hjartat came up with a new quit smoking campaign to help them kick their bad habit.
The campaign uses digital billboards with built in smoke detectors, that trigger an image of a man to start coughing when someone smokes nearby. The display then shares stop smoking products to help kick the bad habit.
Reactions of the campaign have been mixed – but most smokers and non-smokers alike are appreciating the novelty and surprise of the billboard.
