Before calling or emailing, it’s more than likely we’ll send a text. Well, brands are cottoning on to this idea, and there’s now an influx of companies thinking outside the box, and inside our inbox.
Take Magic for example – a concierge service of sorts that users simply text with their needs, requests, and orders. From a ride to the airport, to an artisan coffee, the idea here is they’ll take away the hassle of managing multiple apps and handling numerous interactions.
Or fooji – a tasty idea for New York’s foodies. Send a food emoji and fooji will search and source your local area for your order with the minimum amount of effort between order and check-out.
With an app for everything out there, we think it’s nice to see good ol’ fashioned texting having a bit of a renaissance.
