Imaginary products warn against climate change.
With the increasing isolation of the environmental lobby, conversations around climate change are becoming more urgent than ever. Brazil’s Nature Conservancy has come up with an ingenious way to keep climate change on the table.
Products of Tomorrow is a fictional online store designed to raise awareness by displaying products we’ll need in a world affected by climate change. They include SPF 350 sunscreen and apples that declare ‘Made with 3% fruit’.
The site allows you to pre-order products with an estimated delivery date of 2070, when climate change is forecast to be at its worst. Hopefully, while there’s still time to act, these will be products we’ll never need.
