The accessory for railway police can spot individuals within 100 milliseconds.
Stepping up its surveillance capabilities, Chinese railway police in Zhengzhou are using glasses fitted with facial recognition and bleeding edge optic to catch bad guys. The spy-like hardware can spot people from 100 milliseconds away, even in crowded stations or airports.
The glasses are connected to a tablet, which then is able to match passengers with suspected criminals. The gadget-style glasses have already caught seven fugitives and 26 fake identity cases.
