Designer Nutella, anyone?
Nutella has gone and used an algorithm to produce seven million unique packaging designs for its jars (Thx JPS for spreading the news). The limited editions – created for the super-stylish Italian market – sold out in one month thanks to an aggressive TV and online ad campaign.
The algorithm-led launch follows several other packaging-based campaigns from everyone’s favourite chocolate spread brand – including the opportunity for consumers to customise their jars with names or words.
Collectors are going nuts for it.
