Clothing retailer Asos helps customers organise their saved items better…
We’ve all done it. While shopping online you spot something you like, and automatically hit ‘Save’. Before long, you end up with a wish list of 100 items, none of which you actually buy. For UK clothing retailer Asos, this amounts to a whole lot of lost sales. According to their own data, 43% of customers have more than 50 items saved, while some save as many as 500 products for later.
To stop saved items falling into the retail abyss, Asos has introduced ‘Boards’ into its app. The system’s designed to help customers organise their saves into lists such as ‘Going Out-Out’, ‘Holiday Ensembles’ or ‘Gym Outfits’. This way, they’re more likely to complete their sales.
We’re really hoping the app offers a category, ‘Does My Bum Look Big In This?’
