A recent survey uncovered that around 60% of people think their tech gadgets are spying on them. I mean, they could well be. But wouldn’t it be cool if these powers were used for good?
Well, Nimb has taken the idea of a wearable tracker one step further, and launched a wearable panic button. It uses mobile networks and GPS tracking to monitor more than just your steps.
A 3 second push of a concealed button sends out an alert to a pre-programmed ‘safety circle’ of contacts. You can add emergency contacts from your friends and family, to the police, emergency services and private security services.
The tracker even has an optional recording function, which will record audio evidence through your smart phone when commanded. How very Big Brother.
