To champion diversity and inclusivity in sport, Nike’s London flagship store welcomed a new mannequin style. Deviating from the usual slim builds; these new mannequins celebrate the new plus-size collection which paints a truer picture of the broad range of women in the world of fitness.
While the plus-sized range (up to 3XL) was introduced online back in 2017, these new mannequins show the next stage of the journey to representing the real female athlete on a whole floor dedicated to just that.
This new women’s floor offers performance and lifestyle pieces for female athletes. Combining the apparel sales with more personal touches that help you make the Nike items you select, your own. Nike’s GM/VP Sarah Hannah says “the new look doubles as a shopping space as well as a celebration of sports including football, netball and athletics.”
