Golden arches giant McDonald’s has launched its Speechless campaign with the help of celebs including Charles Barkley, Gabrielle Union and John Goodman. The 30-second commercials were inspired by the idea that words can’t describe the pure delight, feeling and taste of a hot and juicy burger. So instead of using them, the ads rely solely on autonomous sensory meridian response (ASMR) eating sounds like tingle-inducing chewing noises and satisfied mm-hmmms.
