US soft drink manufacturer Mountain Dew has always been quick to jump on the opportunities presented by social media. Its latest initiative involves Lenses, a new feature of Snapchat which allows the brand to have some facetime with consumers.
Lenses recognises a customer’s face from a selfie and either animates it, or applies a filter to it. The results can be hilarious, and sometimes, slightly unsettling. Mmm, looking good there.
