Anti-ageing beauty treatments don’t come cheap. Premium formulations promise a glimpse of eternal youth, but typically at a cost that’ll put years on you. Now UK budget pharmacy chain Superdrug has launched its own private label anti-ageing duo which it claims rivals the performance of the premium brands.
The Optimum PhytoFreeze range features two products – a face and neck cream priced at a restorative £14.99 and an eye cream, which carries a wrinkle-smoothing price tag of just £12.99. The retailer claims that their products work just as well as Estée Lauder’s Resilience Lift face and neck cream for a fraction of the cost.
Says Superdrug’s David Cooke, “The Optimum collection of skin care has become famous for busting the myths around anti-ageing skin products – namely that you have to spend a huge amount for products with active ingredients which work.”
Looking good. Oh, and paying a bit less.
