Introducing Minute: a new app that enables viewers to watch and share the most relevant parts of online video clips. Each user’s video feed will be tailored to their interests, and in a Tinder-like fashion, they’ll be able to swipe to like or skip.
A nice idea given that according to YouTube stats, 300 hours of video are uploaded to the site every minute. That’s just over 2 years’ worth of video content uploaded in an hour. Nearly 5 decades, every day.
And what with our (apparently) limited modern attention spans, and so much video content out there, turns out length really does matter.
