An app that monitors heart health hopes to beat strokes…
Researchers from The Netherlands, the UK and the US have come together to create the Heart for Heart app. The app monitors users’ heart rhythm data from just their fingerprint, and recognises the difference between a regular and irregular heartbeat. The goal is to gain a million heart measurements to help find a cure for Atrial Fibrillation (AFib) – the most common heart rhythm disorder.
