In a bid to attract younger people who have become disenchanted with the blandness of the in-store and online shopping experience, Gucci has opened a new store in Manhattan that champions exploration and discovery.
The new design features exposed brick, plush sofas and eclectic décor. Plus there’s a tonne of interactive opportunities like an AR reality shoe and handbag design experience. On-street security guards have also been removed and clerks are now ‘connectors’ who are trained brand storytellers.
