I AND ME aren’t following the fashion of consumerism. Their current collection, ‘One Thing Well’, tries to encourage buying better, but buying less.
That said, the label is pretty on trend when it comes to social issues. Not only do they make genderless clothing, but everything is produced with as little environmental impact as possible too. Items are done in small runs and designed to last.
According to founder Jessica Gebhart, “…Girls have always been wearing guys things… men are realising it does work and there isn’t such a strong line between men’s and women’s clothes. If people are interested in good fabrics and a good cut then they should try it on, even if it doesn’t suit them.”
