Whole Foods are pulling out all the stops. The chain has a new vice president of culinary and hospitality, who wants to rev up the fun by launching a new food truck concept.
At this year’s SWSX festival, a motorised test kitchen will let you try out treats and baked goods. Alongside the trucks, the chain will host sunset yoga sessions throughout the festival.
Whole Foods are also going up to new gears to try and attract millennials to the brand. For starters, they’re launching a new, lower priced chain for their private-label store brand, 365 by Whole Foods Market. They’re also placing cool stores-within-a-store.
Whole Foods have even been busy working with NRG and Solar City, one of Elon Musk’s companies, to boost their green credentials. They’re aiming to install 100 more solar rooftop units across their stores, making them one of the 25 largest commercial rooftop solar installations in America.
