Bike manufacturer, VanMoof, had a problem. A large amount of their products were getting damaged during delivery, and having to be sold off at a discount.
Taco Carlier, co-founder of VanMoof knew they needed to take their thinking up a gear and come up with a way of getting couriers to be more careful.
While the bike’s packaging isn’t quite the same size as a giant flatscreen TV, they decided to print an image of one on anyway. (Nice spot, Magic). The result? Damages to goods reduced by 70-80 per cent. Now that’s what we call thinking outside the box.
