While nothing beats coming home to a full fridge, putting away shopping can feel like a right chore. Plus, who has time to wait around for the home delivery to show up.
Lucky for us, Swedish supermarket, ICA and logistics company, PostNord are opening up doors by partnering with smart-lock startup, Glue. They’re trialing a new service that could be the key to more convenient shopping.
Glue’s smart locks contain a small electric motor that fits on top of your existing lock. Instead of hiding your keys under the plant pot, homeowners can send out access codes for specific dates and times with their smart phones. So if you’ve done an online shop and nobody is home, PostNord and ICA can give the delivery driver access. They’ll unpack your shopping before letting themselves out. Nice.
