Most of us are guilty of having a good old lurk online – comparing ourselves to others, seeing how the other half live, or searching for aspirational photos. To try and raise self-esteem, brain training app Elevate has taken up a new private photo platform.
At first glance the photo stream looks like any other social media app, but Elevate is for your eyes only. Users are invited to organise their photos based on which give you the happiest memories. So now, instead of stalking through Instagram and making yourself feel bad, you can re-visit your own good times and remind yourself how good you’ve had it.
“By taking the time to take visual notes of all the little things that make you happy, it can help you stay positive when life is knocking you down,” says Joe Watts, one of Elevate’s creators.
