Levi’s has paired up with Google’s ATAP (Advanced Technology and Projects) division to create the world’s first smart denim jacket – that’s smart as in connected.
ATAP’s Project Jacquard technology uses conductive fabric to create interactive textiles – meaning you can weave touch and gesture commands into your threads.
Just imagine how stylish you’ll look skipping a song with a tap of the cuff, or declining an incoming call with a pop of your collar.
Similar to a smart watch, the jacket’s functions make it a truly practical piece of clothing – ideal for commuters who ride bikes. It’s due to be released in the fall, and will retail at $350 a pop.
