It’s widely recorded that the current generation of legal-age drinkers is far more cautious about the effects of alcohol. Apart from the growing number who abstain completely, those who do indulge are likely to drink only moderately. To help them stay on the straight and narrow, tech developer BACtrack has introduced a wearable device that helps them to keep tabs on their alcohol consumption.
The device, Skyn, works by measuring the amount of ethanol escaping from the wearer’s skin. Users can then access the data via their smartphones and so keep track on their tipples. Apple Watch wearers meanwhile can link their watches to the system by replacing the band with a Skyn band
It’s cool to be clear.
