Marmite’s study reveals it’s your DNA that decides
Scientists over at Marmite headquarters (Unilever) have created a DNA test, to address the nationwide dilemma of why people only hate it, or love it.
The DNAFit centre published an official white paper, proving that certain DNA signatures indicate a preference for Marmite. The trial involved 260 people in the UK, discovering 15 genetic markers that made Marmite lovers. The test can be done at home as well, with Marmite-branded DNA home kits.
The brand experience perfectly mirrors their tagline ‘Love it or Hate it’. Even if you aren’t a fan of the spread, you gotta love the idea.
