The Icecreamists have launched their most radical variant yet – breast milk ice cream. Baby Gaga is churned with donations from London mother Victoria Hiley, and served with a rusk and an optional shot of Calpol or Bonjela for £14. (Thanks to Charlie for spotting this one)
Mrs Hiley, 35, said if adults realised how tasty breast milk was more new mothers would be encouraged to breastfeed. Her milk was expressed on site, pasteurised and then churned with Madagascan vanilla pods and lemon zest. And no, the ice cream isn’t certified organic.
Within days Westminster Council officials took away tasting samples and sent a letter ordering the restaurant to stop selling the dish. Not to be outdone, The Icecreamists have just released a ‘bovine formula’ of Baby Gaga.
