New app Browzzin gives commission to users who upload pics of clothing that lead to sales.
New AI powered app Browzzin uses visual recognition to allow users to upload pics of their favourite outfits and tag retailers or brands selling the item, or something similar. If the post then leads to a sale, the user gets commission – anything from 4 percent to 35 percent.
In addition to the app’s shopping functionality, it can also be used to link through to catalogues so users can browse related items online. Currently, over 2 million items from 10,000 brands are available on the platform, and Browzzin hopes to expand its catalogue to 200,000 items per week*.
Retailers can also sign up to the Browzzin PartnerApp, which activates their inventory, so they can take orders from customers. The seller carrying the requested product closest to the shopper’s current location then informs the shopper so they can collect it.
Shopping on-the-go has become extremely popular, especially for fashion – so creating convenient apps and using social media is a winning combination for both retailers and shoppers alike.
