Customers’ World Cup tweets served up on top of a cold beer…
Beer, as we all know, is the original social medium – a thesis confirmed during this year’s FIFA World Cup by Swedish beer brand Norrlands Guld. To celebrate the tournament, the company built a 3D printer capable of printing fans’ World Cup tweets directly onto the foam of their beer. Customers simply tweeted their messages and within seconds, their comments were served up on top of a cold beer. The printer was available in select bars in Sweden throughout the World Cup, reinforcing the point that everything you need to know can be found in a glass of beer.
