As we continue to grow our client portfolio, we have an exciting opportunity for a passionate Senior Creative Artworker to join us in our London studio.

You will be a creative whizz who will play an integral part in various project teams across different industry sectors, including Fast Moving Consumer Goods, B2B, Healthcare, and Hospitality. You will deliver exceptional creative work across each client brief and continue to push new heights for our studio.

This is a permanent role, offered on a full-time or part-time basis (of no less than 4 days per week).

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Work proactively alongside the Creative and Client Service teams throughout the project, from pre-production meetings to final artwork approval.
  • Produce high quality, error free artwork across packaging and asset creation.
  • Work closely with both the internal team and repro to effectively deliver high quality artwork and packaging guidance.
  • Support and drive the company ambition to build our artwork team.
  • Use your wealth of experience in packaging rollout and refinement to support and educate the wider team on the production of assets, final artwork, and colour theory.

TECHNICAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Pre-Production

  • Review, reformat, and collect supplied cutter guides, ensuring cutter is at 100% scale, easily understandable and design team is clear on dimensions and set-up.
  • Supporting the Creative and Client Service teams in pre-production meetings, liaising with repro agencies throughout the project and advising of any print/digital limitations.
  • Support the Creative team in the roll out and implementation of design systems across additional formats and touch points such as lids, back of pack, and additional flavours.

Artwork Production

  • Produce high quality, error free artwork.
  • To review, check for errors and sign off the artwork of others.
  • Refine/re-draw any final logos, typography, lockups, icons, patterns etc. ensuring all file formats are collected to share with both the design team and client for use across multiple touch points.
  • Ensure all typography is refined, considering kerning and positioning.
  • Minor retouching and collection of any final photography assets.
  • Support the creative team on print and colour testing, reviewing print proofs and colour conversions.

Finalisation & Collection of Assets

  • To finalise and collect all master assets within clearly labelled and organised folders.
  • To create/support on technical artwork rules, such as logo size and clearance.
  • To create technical artwork guidelines for internal use to ensure any production set-up and detailed rules can be tracked later.

  • You are passionate about all things design, including digital and print, and possess the craft and brilliant thinking needed to build iconic and memorable brands.
  • You are a confident communicator and understand key design terminology.
  • You can manage your own workflow and deliver on the required timings.
  • You are constantly eager to develop your skillset in a positive learning environment.
  • You are a team player, able to take direction and learn from peer feedback to encourage a collaborative working space.
  • You are a creative problem solver and visual thinker, able to bring a brief to life across the creative.
  • You live and breathe design, staying up to date with the latest insights and have a strong understanding of how brands continue to engage with their target audience.
  • You love to push the boundaries and maximise creative where the opportunity arises, but also understand how to remain in line with a client brief.
