News and brews
Struggle to juggle your coffee and newspaper? Struggle no longer! Canadian coffee franchise Tim Hortons and UAE’s daily English newspaper Gulf News have collaborated to create coffee sleeves featuring the latest headlines (thanks Ollie, NY).
When customers buy a cup of coffee, baristas place the coffee cup sleeve into a special printer. The printer pulls tweets from the Gulf News Twitter account then prints the latest headline of the hour, with a short URL and QR Code, onto the cup sleeve – allowing their customers to stay informed and caffeinated at the same time!
