Sixtieth DEA win barrier smashed!

Last night we celebrated a further 4 DBA Design Effectiveness Award wins at a prestigious ceremony in London, bringing our total wins up to sixty two and smashing our sixtieth win barrier! We also retained our position at the top of the league table over a three-year period for the eighth year running. It’s especially significant for us this year because it’s the DBA’s thirtieth birthday and Elmwood’s fortieth. What a birthday present!

This year’s wins consisted of 2 gold for Heineken Tecate (which also gained the International Export award) and Arla skyr, and 2 silver for HOOQ and Snowdon Trust. These serve as recognition of the power of design to drive business success, and provide compelling proof of why design is a sound commercial investment. And particularly importantly for Elmwood, it’s a clear validation of the remarkable results we’ve achieved for our clients’ businesses.

Jonathan Sands OBE comments: “We have always been a great advocate of these awards, but to top the all time league table and by such a margin is something we are incredibly proud of. Most importantly the Design Effectiveness Awards do a great job in helping business understand that design has a tangible effect on results when invested in properly, and that it is not a subjective dark art. Indeed it is the winners in the client community that should be applauded here as they set the benchmark for procurement best practice. The gong that they go away with is richly deserved, as without great clients you can’t do great work.”

So this year, special thanks go to our great clients Heineken Mexico, Arla Foods, HOOQ and Snowdon Trust.
