No more clichés The Yorkshire Tourist Board wanted to get more people visiting the region, and asked us to rebrand them. Updating people’s perceptions of Yorkshire was a large part of the job. This was our chance to give our native county the identity it deserved. Yorkshire’s heritage, culture, beauty and vibrancy is world-famous. So replacing the stereotypes with some richly deserved oomph was easy.
Seamless and flexible We created a positioning and identity system that made it easy for other agencies to use as campaign DNA (TV, radio, digital, outdoor). The iconic Y and accompanying copy lines build a strong presence for Yorkshire the brand, and Yorkshire the region.
Making an impression Our identity system is out there working hard and appearing widely as the foundation for campaigns across all media, and Yorkshire is now a beacon among the UK’s many other tourist boards.
