Making The Big One even bigger

Red Nose Day 2007 was set to be The Big One – the largest group of people ever to come together for a single fundraising event. Our mission was to design packs that encouraged as many schools as possible to get involved.

Packed with fun
We wanted teachers to be able to create their own Red Nose Day zone, so we created packs filled with balloons, posters and stickers. Diaries and ‘The Little Book of Fundraising Ideas’ helped pupils to record and plan all their initiatives.

The bigger picture
The posters focus on many small images adding up to one big picture – because however large or small your contribution, it all adds up to create something bigger.

A big result
Following the initial mail-out, lots of schools that weren’t on the original list got in touch to request their own pack, and a further 750 were sent out to meet demand.

On Red Nose Day, schools raised over £60 million.
