BrewDog celebrates ‘punk’ in the name of individualism.
In case you didn’t know, Scottish brewer BrewDog owns the ‘punk’ trademark in relation to beer. According to BrewDog, it’s an ethos, an attitude and an outlook.
In an attempt to spread the message far and wide, the brewer has sent hundreds of vinyl ‘I AM PUNK’ posters to its Equity Punks (people who have invested in the company) and asked them to share them with the world.
The guerilla campaign is the beer brand’s way of retaliating against negative press and reconnecting with its original ‘stick it to the man’ identity.
