We consume and dispose of electronics quicker and quicker. And with such innovation, comes a lot of waste.
NewFoldr is an open source project aiming to make even the techiest of tech fans more waste-conscious, while encouraging the rest of us to design, build and recycle our own electronics.
Using premium quality three-ply corrugated cardboard – the good stuff – they’ve created two sets of speakers and a desktop lamp for purchase. Each kit includes small, modular circuit boards that can then be adapted and turned into something new as and when you choose.
And the cardboard, well that can go straight in with the rest of your recycling.
