Nike in South Korea has created a digital queue on Instagram to promote its Airmax trainers…
For the launch of its new Airmax trainers, Nike let Korean sneaker heads digitally queue up for the highly anticipated drop.
To join the queue, shoppers had to visit the Nike website and create their own personal avatar by kitting it out in the latest Nike gear, inspired by Korean street culture.
They then had to upload a photo of the avatar to their Instagram page with the hashtag #AIRMAXLINE to be in with the chance of winning. The result was tens of thousands of cartoon characters standing in line dressed head to toe in Nike.
