New space tailored to gender-fluid consumers
This part-retail, part e-commerce concept is set up as a community in Manhattan’s NoHo neighbourhood.
The space was created for a new generation of people who are seeking brands that are non-conforming – stocking brands such as Champion, Gypsy Sport and Dr Martens as well as creating its own in house designs.
The space will hold talks and events covering an array of issues affecting the LGBTQ community, becoming a multi-functional safe place for people of all shapes, sizes and backgrounds.
‘Since most of us crave human connection and dialogue, but have lost some of that through social media,’ says Smith, founder of The Phluid Project.
