Take some inspiration from the 3/50 project. It’s a movement to save the economy, as they say, ‘3 stores at a time’ (tx to Alex N for this one). The goal is simple: ask people to frequent three local brick and mortar businesses they don’t want to see disappear, and to spend a very affordable $50 per month doing it.
Could be these three. Or another three. It doesn’t really matter. It’s just about funnelling revenue back into local business. These are the businesses that pour money back into the community via commercial property taxes, payroll taxes, sales tax, and salaries (not to mention all that goodwill by way of volunteer time, silent auctions, sponsored softball teams, workshops, book signings, and so on. Lots of people making a small difference, it all adds up!
