Maille are cutting the mustard when it comes to in-store experience. The premium mustard brand is stirring up how you try their products, by using RFID-tagged spoons in their London flagship store.
To keep track of which of Maille’s 45 flavours you like, all you have to do is tap the sensor in front of the mustard with your spoon.
Alongside adding a flavour of technology to the sampling process, the spoons allow in-store sommeliers to scoop up some valuable data.
At the end of your visit, you can see which mustards took your fancy, and print off a wish list. And if you enter your email into the in-store iPads, you can receive tasting notes and mustard-based recipe suggestions, all tailored to your palate.
