Creativity
On awards...
Awards are the most obvious barometer of creativity. And we are proud of the fact that over the last five years we've won more than 100 major creative awards internationally. Among these are the coveted D&AD awards, Design Week, New York Festival (including the Gold World Medal), Mobius and Clio awards as well as a host of regional accolades including the Scottish Design Awards where, this year, we swept the board. They're important because they're a reflection of professional pride, talent and competitiveness -for our clients and ourselves.
It's not just about good ideas
Getting great creative results isn't just about coming up with good ideas. It's also about working well with clients and staying focused on the brief. Our inclusive approach, working as a team - with each other and with our clients - keeps everyone up to speed with what's going on. It also sustains the free flow of insights, information and ideas we need to produce the most outstanding results. We're also avid grazers, 'no grazing, no milk'. So, whether it's shopping, trekking in Peru or taking part in the latest DBA debate, creative or trends forum, we're out there soaking it up. Regular creative review sessions throughout the life span of a project also keep projects on the right creative and strategic track.
Clarity is everything
Unusually for our industry, we also have two in-house writers. Award-winning in their own right, our writers are instrumental in the creative process from concept through to execution. It's their role not just as word smiths but as brand detectives and capturers of ideas that help us unearth and express winning insights. The fact that our writers and designers work together throughout the creative process helps give rigour and depth to our creative solutions. Style and substance.
A final word
Awards are just one measure of our work. A 'wow' from you, a 'why didn't I think of that?' from your competition or an increase to your bottom line are others. We usually try for all of them if we can.
